Some laws exist to mislead,
They say if you smoke weed you will never succeed, 
“Weed is a gateway drug - you’ll be hooked on speed!”
Truth is, weed grows from a seed,
Smoke Mary-Jane and your mind is freed,
It eradicates boredom and anger and greed,
and then ensures laughter and good times proceed.
Despite the laws the stoners agreed,
weed is not dangerous, it makes no-one bleed!

Some laws exist to help us get by -
Yet it’s still illegal for me to be high?
Given the chance I wouldn’t hurt a fly!
Maybe order some fries and a hot apple pie,
or spend the days wearing tie dye.
I would never kill a guy,
ruin his family’s lives and need an alibi..
The worst that can happen is my mouth gets bone dry,
or I have to tell the cops I got something in my eye.

No matter what the law says is right and is wrong,
